These are not the only noteworthy figures from 2025, when Suara Cooperativa increased the number of services managed by 22%, which climbed to 345 services and, as a result, we accompanied 167,253 people, 12% more than a year earlier.

The General Assembly of Suara Cooperativa approved this Saturday, May 30, the results of the entity corresponding to the 2025 financial year in which it achieved a turnover of more than 162 million euros, 7.63% more than the closing figure of 2024.

This activity has allowed it to achieve an integrated social value of 440 million euros, 10% more than the value of 2024. The integrated social value represents the value that the cooperative contributes to its stakeholders, and takes into account factors such as improving the quality of life of the people served, generating employment, professional development and innovation, among others.

The Assembly, which had nearly 1,200 members, also served to confirm that the increase in activity has allowed the 2025 financial year to end with 39.5 million euros in equity, 11.9% more than the 35 million in 2024. Similarly, the working capital has stood at almost 29 million euros at the end of 2025, a figure very similar to that of 2024.

For Tomàs Llompart, co-general director of Suara Cooperativa, “these results confirm once again that it is feasible to be economically sustainable by putting social values ​​and people at the center, instead of dividends”.

The surplus in 2025 was 2.43 million, which represents a margin of 1.5% on total income.

A total of 345 services serving more than 167,000 people

The cooperative managed 345 services in 2025, serving 167,253 people, which represents a 22% increase in services compared to 2024, and a 12% increase in the number of people served. All this is possible thanks to a team made up of 5,867 people (86.4% women), of which 1,882 are members.

Suara Cooperativa's activity is mainly focused on Catalonia where it has a territorial presence in 24 regions, but it also has services in Asturias, Cantabria, Castile and León, La Rioja, Galicia, Madrid, Navarra and also in Chile.

A female cooperative mode

Suara Cooperativa demonstrates that another economic model is possible, a cooperative model, made up mostly of women, which can successfully develop its business model. Currently, the Governing Council is made up of 9 people, of whom 7 are women. For its part, the Strategic Leadership Team (ELE) was made up of 66.67% women in 2025 (30 out of 45 people).

Technological innovation as a key piece in the transformation of the care model

Innovation is part of Suara Cooperativa's DNA and is a key tool for the transformation of the care model. These are social and digital innovation solutions that aim to respond to societal challenges, such as the aging population, child care, mental health or situations of violence.

According to Laura Peracaula, co-general director of Suara Cooperativa, "we are convinced that continuing to incorporate innovation and technology in care for people is key to offering quality care to more people in a sustainable way for families, administration and professionals. And we must do this by establishing strategic alliances".

Within this framework, projects that contribute to improving people's well-being and autonomy have been consolidated during 2025. This is the case of the deployment of the Barnahus model for minors; the CasalTV project -which has exceeded 270 participants and 3,000 annual hours of activities to combat unwanted loneliness-; and Llars Connectades, which incorporates technological solutions in the home to promote safety and the permanence of people in their usual environment.

In addition, from the Social Digital Lab, its main tool for promoting disruptive innovation, Suara Cooperativa has developed more than 40 projects and pilots during 2025, which should allow transforming services for people to prepare them for the challenges of the present and the future. The work of the social innovation laboratory improves the support for people in all walks of life using technologies such as robotics, sensors, virtual and immersive reality, as well as artificial intelligence.

Looking to the future

Suara Cooperativa reinvests its surpluses in society through social transformation projects linked to strategic objectives, which are decided democratically by the members. This 2026 transformation projects are aligned with two of the SDGs: End poverty and Decent work and sustainable development (SDG01 and SDG08). Work is now underway on project proposals that will make this a reality.

As well, one of the lines of work that has already begun is to put innovation at the service of the territories, for r reduce territorial gaps and extend access to technology beyond urban areas and the metropolitan area of ​​Barcelona. Within this framework, the launch of Social Digital Lab Terres de l'Ebre is part of, a new distributed innovation node that joins those that Suara Cooperativa already promotes in Ponent and Girona and with which it wants to become a transformative agent promoting alliances, innovative projects and new opportunities for communities.
