The two vehicles were acquired as a result of an agreement with Som Mobilitat, with whom a study has also been carried out to see how fleet management can be improved to reduce its impact
One of Suara Cooperativa's fundamental values is social responsibility. For this reason, one of the organization's objectives is to implement management that is sustainable with both people and the environment, which it places at the center of its activity.
As a result, in recent years we have promoted different measures to be increasingly sustainable. An example of this is that in 2024 we began to implement the circular economy in our services, a project that has been reinforced in 2025, with the aim of reducing the waste they generate. In addition, we also apply paperless policies to reduce paper consumption. For example, according to the latest sustainability report of Suara Cooperativa prepared in 2025 with data from 2024, that year was 4.5% lower than 2023, since we went from 303,100 units used in 2023 to 293,000 in 2024.
In this context, in 2025 at Suara Cooperativa we also focused our efforts on reducing the impact of our activity and seeing how we could incorporate new measures to achieve this goal. This is how the challenge of making our fleet more sustainable and efficient was born.
With this background objective, last year we reached an agreement with Som Mobilitat to acquire two electric vehicles for a period of one year in order to make the fleet more sustainable and efficient and, in this way, reduce our environmental impact.
In detail, with this initiative, which is part of a Singulars subsidy for 2024-2025, different services of Suara Cooperativa have been able to use these vehicles to see how they operate during 2025.
Although the transfer of these vehicles was only for one year, their experience now allows us to analyze the benefits they have brought to Suara Cooperativa and the environment and, in this way, evaluate what measures we can take to improve the efficiency of our fleet.
