In 2026, Campus Suara and the University of Barcelona are launching a training project consisting of four micro-credentials, delivered across 24 editions —benefiting more than 400 professionals in the sector— starting this January with energy and a clear purpose: to dignify and professionalize the care sector.
The three in-person micro-credentials —Ethics and Dignity of People with Dependency, Care Strategies at the End of Life, and Social Innovation and Active Ageing— have already begun this January, welcoming professionals committed to personal growth and to enhancing the quality of care services. At the end of February, an online micro-credential will be added: Transformational Leadership and Well-being in Care Teams, aimed at care teams. All training programs are accredited by the University of Barcelona and hold European EUROPASS recognition, ensuring that the skills acquired have immediate applicability and tangible value in the professional environment.
This is the first edition of the Campus to offer university-level training to family care workers. This initiative allows students to share classrooms with sector professionals and acquire new practical tools. The project’s objective is to dignify and professionalize the sector, recognize and strengthen the work of its professionals, and open up new opportunities through education.
The project is made possible thanks to the alliance between the Campus, the Microcred Plan, the University of Barcelona, Barcelona Activa, and the Institut Hospital del Mar, which work together to provide high-quality, accessible, and subsidized university education. Through this collaboration, a unique opportunity is created to transform the way care is delivered and to consolidate the value of professionals in the sector.
