A total of 13 professionals from the sector, external to Suara, have completed the micro-credential Young Migrants: Support with an Intercultural Perspective, promoted by the Suara Campus in collaboration with the University of Girona. This is the first university micro-credential from the Suara Campus developed jointly with the University of Girona, as part of a training pathway that the Campus has already initiated with other universities, such as the University of Barcelona, and which will continue throughout 2026.
The micro-credential was taught by Alexandra and Amaya, Suara partners, with extensive professional experience in youth support. The instructors highlight the diversity of the group’s profiles as one of the main strengths of the training process.
“The group was heterogeneous, which allowed each class to be adapted to the real needs of the participants,” they explain, emphasizing that this diversity enriched the sessions and facilitated learning closely linked to professional practice.
Beyond the development of the training, the instructors value the impact of the Suara Campus project as a space that gives voice to professional knowledge and sector experience within the cooperative. According to them, the Campus allows experienced professionals to share their expertise, add value to the sector as a whole, and contribute to making visible the work carried out by Suara in the intercultural field. In this regard, they highlight the potential of the Campus as a platform that connects university education, professional practice, and future opportunities.
