Jana Castells, Suara’s Technical Director of Talent, joined a round table on the sector’s training and employment challenges
This Friday, 19 June, Vall d’Hebron University Hospital hosted the conference “Employment opportunities in the field of health and care”, a space for reflection on the potential of this sector to generate new jobs and professional opportunities.
Suara Cooperativa took part in the event through the contribution of Jana Castells Guiu, Technical Director of Talent, in the round table “Training challenges and employment opportunities in the field of health and care”, moderated by Georgina Ferri, Director General of betevé.
During the session, participants discussed some of the major challenges facing the sector, such as population ageing, technological transformation and the need to attract and retain talent in care-related professions. The event also highlighted the importance of dignifying, recognising and valuing the people who provide care.
The meeting brought together professionals from Vall d’Hebron University Hospital, the education and training sector, public administration and the business sector. It opened with the keynote speech “Health, care and technology: looking to the future”, delivered by Miquel Domènech, senior lecturer in social psychology at the UAB.
Suara’s participation in this type of forum reinforces the Cooperative’s commitment to the professionalisation of the sector, the creation of employment opportunities and the recognition of care as a key field for both the present and the future.
