The director general for Care, Time Management and Labor Equity of the Government of Catalonia, Saray Espejo, has visited Suara Cooperativa's Barcelona offices to gain first-hand insight into our cooperative model, our commitment to quality employment, and how we are driving the transformation of the care model through technology.

The day began with an institutional reception and the traditional welcome photo, marking the start of a meeting aimed at sharing future challenges and exploring opportunities for collaboration in time management, equity, and care work.

During the visit, the director General for Care, Time Management and Labor Equity of the Government of Catalonia, Saray Espejo, accompanied by Lídia Devant Abelló, Deputy director General for the Planning and Deployment of Equity and Co-responsibility Policies of the Government of Catalonia, toured various spaces at our headquarters, including the Independent Living Center, as well as projects such as care robotics, Casal TV, and the Immersive Reality Room. There, Bàrbara Outeiro, specialist in designing disruptive technological solutions for the third sector at Suara Cooperativa, explained how this technology is used to address and work on the impact of violence through an immersive care and empathetic perspective.

We were also able to share the work we do through the Care Hub. Suara placed special emphasis on the need to move beyond the pilot project phase in order to definitively advance toward the scaling and consolidation of these new models.

The day continued with a working meeting featuring Suara's General co-director, Laura Peracaula, alongside Mònica Vázquez, Organizational Evolution Project director. During this meeting, we delved deeper into the overall presentation of Suara, our cooperative work model, the range of services we offer beyond the strict scope of care, and the role of our affiliated companies.

This visit reinforces our commitment to keep working towards consolidating a more human, innovative, and sustainable care model, where people's well-being remains our top priority.
