Suara Cooperativa has received the Làbora seal for yet another year as an organization that accredits collaboration in the Làbora program and the hiring of people in vulnerable situations during this year.
On March 21, at a networking day held at the Princess Hotel in Barcelona, a total of 83 companies were recognized with the Làbora seal. The event was attended by the Commissioner of Social Action, Sonia Fuertes, who highlighted the importance of the alliance with the business community to offer job opportunities to the people participating in the program. More than 100 people attended the first exclusive event for companies participating in the Làbora program, whose main objective is the job placement of people in vulnerable situations.
Antònia Giménez, Director of Employment of the Catalan Red Cross, highlighted the collaboration between the public and private sectors and highlighted the success of the meeting as a meeting point for the companies in the program.
The day also included an inspiring talk by Mercè Brey, an expert consultant in equity and leadership, who highlighted the value of diversity in organizations and the importance of elements such as empathy and compassion in business management.
Several companies presented successful projects and initiatives during the business dialogue, highlighting the importance of recognizing the individuality of workers and offering responses tailored to their needs.
The event concluded with a strong emphasis on the role of companies in the sustainability and support of their workers, underscoring the importance of a two-way commitment between company and employee for success in recruiting and retaining talent.
