SUARA is participating in the “Work and Training Programme for Young People in Care and Young People in Situations of High Vulnerability.
This programme is subsidised by the Public Employment Service of Catalonia and co-financed by the European Union. Its main objective is to provide professional experience to a particularly vulnerable group of young people, such as those who are or have been under the care of the Catalan Government.

At Suara Cooperativa, we believe in the abilities and talents of all people, and we work to support the social and professional inclusion of those who face greater barriers in accessing the regular job market.

This programme aims to train and support vulnerable young people between the ages of 17 and 25. Through a one-year employment contract, participants gain professional experience, receive training, and benefit from the guidance of a mentor who helps them strengthen their skills and increase their employability. This, in turn, improves their chances of social and economic integration and independence. We design personalised insertion pathways that reinforce both technical and transversal skills to help ensure lasting participation in the labour market.

In January 2025, we hired four young people as administrative assistants through this programme—three in the province of Barcelona and one in the province of Girona.
