Suara professionals linked to the care of homeless people attended the "Homelessness in Barcelona, public policies at the local level" conference, organized by Barcelona City Council and the Homeless Care Network (XAPSLLB). Suara has been a member of the XAPSLLB since 2008.
The conference included the presentation of the circuit of services deployed in the field of homelessness in Barcelona by Carme Fortea, Director of Homeless Care Services and the results of the evaluation by Marta Llobet, collaborating professor of the UFR-School of Social Work of the University of Barcelona, on the "Primer la llar" project, a Barcelona City Council program that Suara manages together with Fundació Sant Pere Claver.
Maite Mauricio, leader of the homelessness project in Suara and representative of the XAPSLLB, participated in the round table 'Transfer of learning from the Primer La Llar' program. During the day, different workshops were held, such as the one on female homelessness or community work.
