Suara Cooperative has published the new Code of Ethics, a document that sets out the values and principles that guide our activities and decision-making: responsibility, social commitment, dignity, equality, and participation.
This Code is the result of a process of dialogue and participation involving both internal and external stakeholders, with the engagement of the Ethics Committee, the Governing Council, and the support of experts in applied ethics. Its aim is to provide the cooperative with a shared compass to guide actions in line with cooperative values and to strengthen its organisational culture.
The Code of Ethics clearly and publicly expresses Suara’s commitment to a way of working that respects people’s dignity, promotes equality, and encourages participation, both internally and in our relationship with the community. The document, already available on Suara’s internal website, will soon include an easy-to-read version to ensure these principles are accessible to everyone.
