Suara Cooperativa collects more than 1,700 surveys to evaluate immersive reality experiences
From Suara Cooperativa, together with Broomx and the Consorci Sanitari de Terrassa, we have verified the benefits that immersive reality brings to improve both well-being and people's mental, emotional and physical health. Now, you too can help us in this challenge.
For this reason, as part of the Singulars project, they have started a project to find the most suitable immersive reality experiences for each person served. In this context they have launched a survey to develop on the computer, mobile or tablet, where different 360º reality experiences appeared. Afterwards, the person had to evaluate the emotions they had generated: whether it had produced them happiness or not; whether he had imparted to them activation or calm; as well as whether they felt present or not. The only requirement to participate in this survey was to be of legal age.
The survey, which was launched on May 16, has garnered 1,764 responses. With this, 20 scenarios have been selected and now the second phase of the study will begin where these experiences will be presented to 30 people (15 men and 15 women) aged between 18 and 90.
Positive experiences with immersive reality
Immersive reality is a tool with which very good results are being obtained, since through the images cognitive stimuli are created that help to work on memory loss, emotional and physical well-being, but also psychological in situations like stress, depression or trauma.
Suara Cooperativa, Brommx and the Consorci Sanitari de Terrassa already cooperate in the "Revive" project, a rehabilitation and neuroplastic stimulation program to improve the cognitive or psychological state of people through immersive reality. This program is developed in group sessions, which are always led by an expert.
On the other hand, Suara Cooperativa looks after the emotional and psychological well-being of working people, to whom it offers Mindfulness experiences and training with immersive reality.
Also, experiences have been carried out with elderly people to slow down the processes of cognitive deterioration following the aging process or to improve physical well-being through experiences that promote activities with which gymnastic exercises are developed.
Finally, Suara Cooperativa uses this technology to work with children, adolescents and young people who have experienced traumatic processes while also helping them learn skills such as the language of the host country or mathematics through experiences, such as example, go shopping at the Boqueria market.
