Suara Cooperativa has closed the second year of the covid-19 pandemic with the recovery of activity and with the endorsement of 94% of the members in the General Assembly. Thus, 2021 closed having attended 34,143 people through 284 projects and services, with a staff of 4,677 people hired and 1,285 members.
Operating income for 2021 was €106,760,144, with a recovery of 4.28% compared to 2020, in which the start of the pandemic caused a drop in the Cooperative's activity. Own funds, on the other hand, increased by 13% to €23,768,899.
The calculation of the Integrated Social Value is also recovered up to €216,653,821, although the calculation method does not incorporate any correction factor that values the additional efforts derived from the pandemic, considering that they are exceptional. This indicator calculates the social value beyond the economic impact following the methodology of dr. José Luis Retolaza from the University of Deusto and his GEAccounting team.
Internally, in 2021 more flexible ways of working were promoted to take advantage of located and remote work, tools to improve efficiency and care projects for the well-being of professionals, including emotional and physical support programs, among others.

During the General Assembly, which was held online again with the attendance of nearly 1,000 connected people, the new composition of the Cooperative's Governing Council was also approved through a partial renewal of members: they have started a new mandate in the organ Susanna Benabarre, Laia Bonastra, Mireia Miralles, Bárbara Outeiro, Alejandro Ovejero and Carla Valero, who join Nelly Amaral, Clara Fuentes and Jordi Masnou.
