Suara Cooperativa is running a training and support project to improve the digitization skills of the organization’s professionals, especially those who provide their services at home.
Digitization is one of the components needed for today’s transformation. The current challenge of the Cooperative is to promote the achievement of the skills to develop the different jobs.
The project promotes the change in digital skills of both people working in the cooperative and people served with the desire to reduce the gap to promote social inclusion. The strategy involves training and support spaces, both group and individual, to ensure that basic knowledge and skills are achieved.
During the year 2021, within the framework of the digitization project, actions were promoted such as the self-assessment of skills, introduction to digitization with PC and initiation to digitization with smartphone, with the active participation of 1,960 people.
This post by Suara received recognition from Social Economy Europe last year to coincide with the first edition of the European Social Economy Awards. The aim of these awards is to recognize the work of companies and organizations in the business model of the social economy, which makes it easier for society to address some of today's major social, environmental, economic and technological challenges.
The project receives funding within the framework of the unique projects for the socio-economic reactivation of COVID-19 for cooperative companies promoted by the Generalitat de Catalunya (General Directorate of Social and Solidarity Economy, the Third Sector and Cooperatives).
