Suara Cooperativa has gathered this Wednesday, May 31, more than a hundred professionals from the health and social care fields in a conference on immersive reality therapies organized together with Broomx.

The session, which took place at the headquarters of Suara in Barcelona, made it possible to learn about the experiences of Hospital Olot, Consorci Sanitari Terrassa, Instituto de Investigación Sanitaria Aragón, Sant Joan de Déu Sociosantari, IAS Girona, Fundació Villablanca, Fundació Our Lady Meritxell of Andorra and Isom, in addition to presenting the Suara initiative.

Immersive reality is one of the key bets of the Social Living Lab, Suara's initiative to respond to new needs with the creation of the first incubator specialized in care in Catalonia, open to the community and different interest groups. The immersive technology space makes it possible to develop innovative solutions and respond to social challenges in the field of health and well-being.

Dr. Jordi Amblàs, director of the Integrated Care Strategy of the Department of Health of the Generalitat de Catalunya, representing the Minister of Health, highlighted the Government's commitment to work for social and health integration to provide better care to people

Broomx is a Catalan technology company specialized in creating therapeutic immersive experiences in health and social care centers. Unlike virtual reality, it opts for an immersive format that does not require the use of glasses and facilitates sharing the experience between different people in the same space-time, making it a more accessible format for many profiles of people. Suara Cooperativa has been able to develop it with a grant from the Singulars program of the Department of Social and Solidarity Economy of the Generalitat de Catalunya from the Department of Business and Work.
