Suara Cooperativa, along with 200 other Catalan companies, has joined the 'Manifesto for an Economy with a Purpose' that was presented at Casa Llotja de Mar in Barcelona. It is a call to the business world to advance in the active and committed development of the responsibility of companies towards society oriented towards the triple impact: economic, social and environmental.
The manifesto has been promoted by thirty of the main business organizations, under the impetus of Respon.cat: the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce, Foment del Treball, Pimec, CECOT, FemCat and the College of Economists, among others.
The manifesto calls on the business world to advance in the active and committed development of the responsibility of companies towards society, with a purpose of triple impact, economic, social and environmental. It also aims to show publicly how companies are engines of change based on values of commitment and creating shared value.
To make this possible, it is proposed that each company establish a purpose that marks the will to create value both for the company itself and for all the other parties involved.
