Víctor Meseguer, special commissioner for the Social Economy, visited Suara Cooperativa this week. Meseguer was appointed in February at the proposal of the Ministry of Labor and Social Economy.
The new commissioner showed interest in the general activity of Suara and especially in the projects of innovation in the social field and transformation of the care model. He got to know first-hand the new spaces of Suara's Social Digital Lab to work on improving care for people, together with the immersive technology room and the new digital home of the Center for Independent Living.
During the visit he was accompanied by Suara's general co-directors, Laura Peracaula and Tomàs Llompart, the director of Innovation, Jordi Picas, and the director of Grup Clade, Ramon Roig.
Among the functions of the commissioner are to divulge, promote and promote the policies and plans for the transformation of the value chains of the care sector and the social economy; develop public-private collaboration to guarantee access and execution of social economy and care projects; collaborate and promote Spain's international dialogue regarding the implementation of the PERTE Social Economy and Cures, as well as in the field of other national and international strategies, actions and initiatives that affect Social Economy entities.
