Suara Cooperativa received this Wednesday, December 28, at its headquarters, located in Barcelona, the Minister for Social Rights of the Generalitat de Catalunya, Carles Campuzano, accompanied by the Secretary of Social and Family Affairs, Lluís Torrens.
The visit, led by Tomàs Llompart and Laura Peracaula, co-directors general of Suara, aimed to present first-hand to the Minister of Social Rights Suara's commitment and work in caring for people. In this sense, both managers have shown Campuzano and Torrens the areas of the cooperative from where the different services offered by Suara are promoted.
Likewise, the councilor also had the opportunity during his visit to get to know some of the spaces recently promoted by Suara, in its aim to improve attention to people.
One of the spaces is the new digital home of the Center for Independent Life that Suara hosts at its headquarters. It is a completely accessible and digital home, equipped with the latest developments in assistance home automation, combined with the simplest solutions, so that people can see and try all the support products available on the market and aimed at people with mobility difficulties .
Suara's Social Digital Lab is another space, created in 2021 as an evolution of SuaraLab, which the Minister of Social Rights was also able to see firsthand during his visit, together with the immersive and virtual reality room, where you can experiment and pilot test. The Social Digital Lab promotes co-creation, bringing together professionals, clients, people served and industry experts, who work together to generate new ideas and projects through agile methodologies, also with the aim of improving attention to people
Suara has recently been recognized with the IP22@ badge awarded by the business association 22@Network BCN as the most innovative company for its technological commitment to care for people, through the Social Digital Lab.
