Suara Cooperativa has recently received, at its hearquarters located in Barcelona, the Minister of Health of the Generalitat de Catalunya, Manel Balcells.
The president of Suara, Laia Bonastra, and the co-management of Suara, lead by Laura Peracaula and Tomàs Llompart, have led the visit, which was also attended by Aina Plaza, general director of Health Planning and Research the Generalitat of Catalonia, and Francesc Sala, responsible of the Analysis and Strategy Office of the Generalitat's Health department.
The meeting allowed the Minister of Health and the delegation of the Catalan government to know the activity of Suara, as well as the new spaces that the cooperative hosts at its headquarters. Related to this, they all had the opportunity to visit the Social Digital Lab, the social innovation laboratory from where the cooperative's innovation ecosystem is energized and managed in the aim of searching solutions to improve the care of people.
The new digital home of the Center for Independent Living, located in this Suara innovation space, has been one of the initiatives that has attracted the most attention from Balcells and the other managers. A flat equipped with the latest technology that allows a person with mobility problems to live independently.
In addition, the expectation of all visitors have continued with the experience lived in the immersive reality room, also included in the Social Digital Lab. It is a space that allows to experiment and carry out pilot workshops of immersive therapy in virtual environments, which offer many possibilities of use in the care and well-being of people, both workers and those in care.
