The Minister of Labor, Social Affairs and Families, Chakir El Homrani, and the Mayor of Sant Boi de Llobregat, Lluïsa Moret, inaugurated yesterday the first public residential home for people with intellectual disabilities in the municipality of Baix Llobregat. The residential home, managed by Suara Cooperativa, is adapted to daily activities and individual therapeutic needs of the 8 people who live there.
The main purpose of the service is to promote a good life quality and to improve personal and social autonomy of the attended people. Minister Chakir El Homrani has highlighted that the new service gives “qualified support to disabled people to guarantee that they could develop their life in an autonomous and integrative way”.
