The Federation of Work Integration Social Enterprises of Catalonia (FEICAT) has elected a new Board of Directors chaired by Imma Lluva, Managing Director of Suara Inserció. The appointment was approved during the organisation's General Assembly held on 16 June.

Suara Inserció, the work integration social enterprise linked to Suara Cooperativa, creates employment opportunities for people in vulnerable situations through personalised support pathways, training and professional work experience. Imma Lluva's appointment as President of FEICAT recognises both her career within the social economy and the contribution that work integration social enterprises make to building a more inclusive society.

A qualified social worker, Lluva has more than thirty years of experience in the social sector. She has developed her entire professional career at Suara Cooperativa, where she started as a volunteer and social educator before taking on a range of management responsibilities. Since 2020, she has served as Managing Director of Suara Inserció.

Lluva believes that FEICAT must continue to be "a space for dialogue, coordination and collective action" for work integration social enterprises. Among the priorities for this new stage are strengthening the sector's sustainability, increasing its visibility and continuing to foster collaboration with public administrations, businesses and social organisations.

At Suara Cooperativa and Suara Inserció, we celebrate this appointment, which highlights the cooperative's commitment to social and labour inclusion and the social economy. Imma Lluva's presidency of FEICAT strengthens Suara's presence in the sector's representative bodies and helps raise awareness of the work carried out by work integration social enterprises to create employment opportunities and improve people's lives.
