January 21, the Minister of Social Rights and Inclusion, Ms. Mònica Martínez Bravo, found the co-direction general of Suara, represented by Ms. Laura Peracaula, and the direction of the Mas Teixidor Center, by Xavier Sala. Accompanied by the director of the Territorial Services of Social Rights and Inclusion in Girona, David Álvarez Carreño, the counselor visited the facilities of the center, where she has talked with representatives of the cooperative, the management, the team and the young people attended by the center.
The Mas Teixidor Spaai Center, opened since 2018, has served a total of 234 migrated young people, with a constant commitment to promote the reception and equal opportunities of young people migrant without family support. During the visit, Martínez Bravo was able to get to know the work of Suara first -hand and the services it offers to people in vulnerable situations, with a special approach to children and young migrated young people in a situation of guardianship by the DGAIA.
In addition, the meeting has also been an opportunity to share the needs and challenges in relation to the model of care for these migrated young people, as well as to promote social policies that favor their emancipation.
Xavier Sala, direction of the center, emphasized "the commitment and stability of the educational team are essential to ensure that each young person has access to a quality education that promotes his personal and academic success". He further emphasized that "the cooperative model of Suara, promotes the confidence between the members of the team, but also creates a positive educational environment that empowers young people in their learning process".
Results and commitment to the future of migrated young people
Autonomy Flat Program and Labor Insertion Project: These projects help young people to make the transition to independent life and provide training and job opportunities for young people in vulnerability. The Autonomy Flat Program offers support for everyday life skills, finance management and job search. Currently, 44 young people have participated in this program, with 60% reaching an independent life. On the other hand, the PIL has benefited 80 young people, with 34% finding a job, thus facilitating their social and economic integration.
Individualized protection itineraries: 20 young people have benefited from personalized support programs, including emotional support, training and career guidance. Enter others, we highlight the vegetable garden project that allows young people to participate in the creation and maintenance of a community vegetable garden, promoting autonomy and healthy eating.

Democratic values are essential in his social intervention, with an anti -racist approach and a gender perspective, guaranteeing rights and respect for cultural diversity. The social commitment of the project guides all its actions towards the improvement of social welfare and the transformation of inequalities.
Community action and participation
The center has encouraged the integration of young people into the community of Maià through actions such as community "IFTARS", visits to the municipal pool, film forums, and participation in the football club, thus encouraging integration and respect.
The meeting with Suara and the visit to the center is part of a round of meetings that the counselor is doing throughout the Gironès with entities in the third sector.
