These are different objects for the home, educational or recreational that have been distributed to services for vulnerable children, people in a situation of homelessness and the elderly, among others.
The technology firm Computacenter has donated 264 pieces of furniture to different services of Suara Cooperativa in the metropolitan area of Barcelona, among which there are resources for people in a situation of homelessness, the elderly or children in a situation of vulnerability.
The donation includes material of all kinds that ranges from furniture for the home such as sofas, tables, chairs, armchairs, curtains, carpets, portable cabinets, lockers, office chairs or containers for waste management to screen monitors that help combat the digital divide.
Beyond this, various recreational and educational materials have also been donated, such as a table football, a portable basketball hoop set, a ping pong table or a table construction game.
In addition, this donation, which was made in mid-May, also included different yoga mats, as well as bicycle parking spaces for both six and two spaces.
Thanks to this donation, around thirty services from Suara Cooperativa have been able to benefit, including resources for people in a situation of homelessness, for vulnerable and/or guardianship children, nursery schools, residential and day centers for the elderly and home care.
For this reason, from Suara Cooperartiva we would like to thank Computacente because this material will help us offer better support and attention to the people we serve.
