The Centre Cultural de la Mercè of Girona hosted this Saturday, September 30, a meeting to reflect and discuss emotions, limits and conflict management.
In detail, it is a training day aimed at nurseries and childcare services managed by Suara Cooperativa. Entitled "Emotional accompaniment as a basis for the construction of the personality. Conflict resolution, from empathy and respect", the event included several interventions, among them, the renowned psychologist Sonia Kliass, who was one of the trainers.
Also present were Laura Peracaula, co-director of Suara Cooperativa, Laia Planagumà, director of the customer area, and Núria Aupí, technician of the education area of the City Council of Palafrugell.
In their speeches, Peracaula and Aupí emphasized the importance of training and continuous improvement of early childhood teams. However, Peracaula recalled that next 2024, it will be 20 years since Suara Cooperativa began its trajectory in the management of nursery schools and, therefore, emphasized the experience that the entity has in this area.
The meeting brought together again the teams of professionals, to share views, concepts and respond to the need to meet, reflect and discuss together. Sonia Kliass - a psychologist specializing in child development, Waldorf and Pikler trainer - with extensive experience in counseling families and professionals, participated with a presentation and subsequent conversation on limits, empathy, altruism, as well as recurring conflict situations in the daily life of professionals and possible responses.
With the participation of 150 professionals from the daycare and “Creixen” teams, the driving force behind the event was highly satisfied with the event, as well as the opportunity to meet and share the speaker's experience.
