When she was a child, Maria Parera knew from the start that she wanted to work in the Advocacy field. She decided to change her professional direction and 4 years ago she started to work as a Labour Relations Technician at Suara Cooperativa, providing support to other workers and resolving doubts about labour regulations.
Maria started to work at Suara a few weeks before the beginning of the pandemic. She had to adapt herself to work remotely, as the rest of her colleagues. During this period, she has had the opportunity to participate in some interesting projects, such as the Equality Plan and the reorganization of the Cooperative.
Maria has lived between Barcelona and Berga for so many years, and she has a strong rooting with family and friends. Whenever possible, she spends her free time with them to enjoy traditional events such as the Patum of Berga. Do you want to know her life story?
