The history and growth of Suara Cooperativa would not be understood without our firm commitment to offering opportunities to interns who are training in any field related to people’s care.
In our organization, we regularly welcome individuals who see us as an opportunity to put into practice everything they are learning in the classroom. The intern at Suara represents an investment in talent and professional training, two of the cooperative’s most valued principles. Additionally, we believe that internships are a key opportunity to connect the academic world with the professional environment.
Convinced of the importance of this connection, our internship program is the result of meticulous prior work and deep reflection, culminating in a carefully designed program that provides interns with a real and enriching experience. In an increasingly competitive job market, internships can be the differentiating factor when applying for a job.
At Suara, we are very clear about this, which is why internships—always supervised by our professionals—are a key pillar of our action program and an essential complement to theoretical training. This way, we help those who trust our organization to complete their learning journey and better understand the challenges and dynamics of their future profession.
Up to 400 Interns Each Year
The numbers speak for themselves: every year, we host between 350 and 400 interns from various specializations. Our programs are mainly aimed at students trained in health and education fields within the region, but we also have a global vision, which is why we have signed agreements allowing students from other countries to complete their training with us.
Investing in individuals who are still completing their education is a two-way path. At Suara, we understand that internships not only benefit the interns but also our organization as a whole. They allow us to discover emerging talent and incorporate new ideas and perspectives. This explains why many of the students who complete internships with us eventually become part of our team, reinforcing our commitment to training and talent development.
A Talent Development Approach
Every intern has abilities and talents that need to be nurtured. At Suara, always with respect for diversity, we believe in these capabilities as essential for developing work that requires passion and commitment. The broad range of services we offer as a cooperative allows individuals with very different profiles to undertake internships within our organization. This aspect is crucial, both for identifying talent and for allowing that talent to be trained in and experience the diverse cooperative reality of Suara.
With this approach, supported by the continuous guidance of cooperative professionals, internships at Suara become a powerful tool for personal and professional growth.
