Suara Cooperativa has been a finalist in the 14th edition of the Ignasi Fina Occupational Health Award given by Barcelona City Council. Suara’s recognized project has been 'Som Benestar' (‘We Are Wellness’), an initiative to physically and emotionally support professionals that emerged during the covid-19 pandemic. The prize for this edition went to Grup Bon Preu, and the Parc de Salut Mar was also a finalist.
The main objective of the Ignasi Fina Occupational Health Award is to contribute to recognizing and making visible the best practices in risk prevention and in the promotion of occupational health in the city of Barcelona. In this year's edition, special attention has been paid to the actions that have served to respond to the situation generated by covid-19 in the work environment, either in the face-to-face aspects or in terms of teleworking.
During the event, which took place on May 2 in the Saló de Cent of the Barcelona City Council building in Plaça Sant Jaume, the Barcelona Agreement to take care of mental health at work was also presented. This agreement seeks to strengthen the city’s commitment to promoting measures that help care for mental health in the workplace. The agreement has been promoted by the Occupational Health Advisory Board.
