Suara has launched a new edition of the Active Employment Inclusion Measures Programme (MAIS), aimed at recipients of Catalonia’s guaranteed minimum income and people at risk of or experiencing social exclusion. The programme will support more than 120 people in improving their employability and accessing the labour market.
Access to employment is a key factor in strengthening personal, economic and social autonomy. However, for many people in vulnerable situations, entering the labour market means overcoming barriers and developing the skills and opportunities they need to build a professional future.
With this objective, Suara is running a new edition of the Active Employment Inclusion Measures Programme for recipients of the guaranteed minimum income and people at risk of or experiencing social exclusion (MAIS Programme) throughout 2026.
The programme aims to improve participants’ employability and support their integration into the labour market, accompanying them as they develop their skills and access new professional opportunities.
Supporting more than 120 people across four locations
This edition will support more than 120 people through four programme locations in Llinars del Vallès, Barcelona —Balmes and Glòries— and Amposta, reaching different municipalities in the provinces of Barcelona and Tarragona.
Suara Serveis’ MAIS Programme began in May 2026 and will run until 30 April 2027.
Through programmes such as MAIS, Suara works to create opportunities that strengthen people’s autonomy and contribute to a more inclusive society, viewing employment as a tool for social transformation and inclusion.
The project is supported by the Government of Catalonia (Generalitat de Catalunya).
