Suara Cooperativa expresses its concern for the serious situation in Gaza and calls for an immediate and permanent ceasefire

Suara Cooperativa expresses its deep concern for the serious humanitarian situation experienced in Gaza and condemns any action that goes against the well-being of people, any violation of human rights and international humanitarian law, any kind of genocide, war crimes, selective killings, massacres and/or deprivation of the basic elements of life.

As a cooperative committed to people, we reject any form of violence against the population, especially against those people in situations of greatest vulnerability such as children, youth and the elderly, who suffer disproportionately from the effects of the conflict.

We hope that the latest news of a possible peace agreement will come to fruition and we call for the immediate establishment of humanitarian corridors that allow full and unrestricted access to humanitarian aid for all people in situations of vulnerability. We also urgently call for an immediate and permanent ceasefire that guarantees the protection of people's lives and dignity.

Finally, we would like to remind you that Gaza is not the only territory affected by war and violence in the world. From Suara we reiterate the importance of always respecting international law and moving towards peace and justice, the dignity of people and the progress of societies.
