At Suara Cooperativa, we continue to move forward in research and innovation in the field of care for older adults with the incorporation of the Cirerers Day Care Center into the Cognitio study, a project aimed at improving the quality of life of people living with cognitive decline and which we are developing in collaboration with Consorci Sanitari de Terrassa (CST) and Broomx.

The main objective of this project is to study whether the Advanced Cognitio intervention program, which uses immersive virtual reality, can help people with cognitive decline maintain or improve their cognitive health, their emotional well-being, and strengthen their autonomy.

The intervention is based on in-person group sessions, in which we use 360º images and videos. During these sessions, we propose mindfulness activities, breathing techniques, and well-being strategies applied to daily life activities, all developed in an immersive and participatory environment.

With the incorporation of the Cirerers Day Care Center, we continue to expand the scope of a study in which we keep working with people over the age of 65 living with cognitive decline, with the aim of generating knowledge and new tools that help improve care and support.

Through initiatives like this, we continue to invest in innovation and applied research to address the challenges of aging and contribute to a better quality of life for older adults, especially those living with cognitive decline.
